The OBA/OJEN Competitive Mock Trials (OOCMT) is a partnership between the Ontario Bar Association (OBA) and the Ontario Justice Education Network (OJEN). A network of local mock trial tournaments use the OOCMT case and format for mock trials. OJEN and the OBA work with local partners throughout the province to support and encourage the development of competitive mock trial opportunities for secondary school students of all grade levels.
OOCMT is organized throughout the province based on the eight judicial regions of the Superior Court. In most regions, a number of local mock trial tournaments are run in different areas, with the top teams progressing to the Regional Finals. Some of these tournaments are longstanding local events and some are newer events that OJEN and the OBA are helping to develop.

Hagersville District Lions Club held its charter night in 1962. We have been involved in the Purina Walk for Guide Dogs for the last number of years, which has been very successful in raising funds for guide dogs for the blind, and now, diabetic as well.
Since the Club's inauguration, many programs have been supported both locally and nation wide. Large and small projects have been undertaken, most notably the conversion of the old glove factory to a library, the construction of an outdoor pool, tennis courts and skate park.
The club has had many members over all those years, some have stayed for a short time while others have turned it into their lifes' work. Currently we have 18 active members. The Hagersville Lions have been a part of the fabric of this community since 1962 and we are proud to say: "WE SERVE".
